National Conference on Race and Ethnicity and Iowa State Conference on Race and Ethnicity XProject (NCORE-ISCORE Project)

The NCORE-ISCORE Project involves a delegation of Iowa State University pre-selected students, faculty, and staff who attend the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education and then return to campus to share information and experiences with the university community.

The selected students attend the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity, then take a class on race and ethnicity, conduct research with their team, and present at the Iowa State Conference on Race and Ethnicity (ISCORE) the following spring.

The Thomas L. Hill Iowa State Conference on Race and Ethnicity (ISCORE) is a comprehensive forum on issues of race and ethnicity at Iowa State University and beyond. The local conference is designed to model the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education (NCORE).

Throughout the process, students learn from nationally recognized speakers, engage in meaningful discussions and make lifelong friends.
