The Fall 2020 College of Human Sciences Virtual Convocation is available below.

Who: Undergraduate seniors who applied for graduation by Oct. 1, and were approved for Fall 2020 graduation. 

What: A celebration that includes video footage, awards, and individual recognition of each graduate.  Also included are photos and personal statements provided by these graduates in October.  

Time: Saturday, November 28, 2020, 10 a.m.  The recording is available on demand for viewing.

The Convocation

The Fall 2020 College of Human Sciences Convocation can be accessed from this web page at any time after 10 a.m. Saturday, November 28. It is a separate event from the official Iowa State University commencement ceremony. This event includes only students from the College of Human Sciences, and allows students and their guests a more individualized celebration of their achievement. It includes greetings from the Dean of the College, comments by student speakers, brief remarks from department chairs, and individual recognition of each graduating student.

Iowa State Distinction Cords

Honor cords will be included in the Graduation Gift Box students pick up from the Registrar’s Office between October 28 and November 26. You will be notified by email. For eligibility details visit the Iowa State catalog and see the text under Graduation with Distinction. Check Graduation Status in AccessPlus (Student tab, Graduation, Graduation Status) to see if you will be graduating with distinction and what level.

Diploma

Diploma distribution will be handled by the Registrar.
